Property Team
Goal of Position: Assist with property maintenance
Description of Duties
Minor repairs on grounds and in buildings as needed on specific
projects such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, etc.
Time Requirement
At least 4 hours on the monthly work day one Saturday of each month.
(Except July and December) If available for “on call” it will depend on
the job.
Term
Ideally, members will serve for at least two years, fulfilling the
responsibilities and duties listed, as well as carrying out projects
that cannot be performed by professional contractors for financial or
other reasons.
Training Provided
No training, must have experience for specialized tasks.
Qualifications, Skills, and Gifts
Skilled - in areas of need - electrician, plumber, carpenter, willing to
climb ladders. Some jobs do not require special skills such as changing
light bulbs, furnace filters, etc. Good worker.
Benefits to the Volunteer
