Peace Lutheran Church has a unique program for all ages of children to participate in. Help your child discover how they can weave their faith into their life.
In the Children’s Ministry at Peace Lutheran, our
mission is to grow a generation of disciples for Christ through
education, worship, service and fellowship. Our nursery through 6th
graders have the opportunity each week to establish and expand their
foundations of knowledge built on biblical truth. Our children have a
year-round curriculum available to them that offers a variety of
teaching techniques in order to create true understanding of their
faith.
From 10 am - 10:45 am each Sunday, we have a team
of teachers offering the Grow in Christ curriculum. This curriculum is
offered in the nursery all the way through an adult class. This allows
an entire family to study the same scripture on the same week in a way
that is appropriate for each individual member. At the end of a
three-year cycle, we will have studied the entire Bible.
The Children’s Ministry Leadership Team supports
our congregational mission statement, in which we strive to reach out
and build a Christian community where people grow into deepening
relationships with Jesus Christ — children can change the future of our
world and hold the hope of tomorrow.

Each week a 1st through 6th grader will have the chance to have his or her name drawn from our fun fact sheets. Whatever child has a name drawn will have a picture and fun facts about the child featured on our bulletin board and will have a lunch of choice brought to school on Wednesday of that week. It’s a great chance for Daphne to get to know the students better and spend a little time in their world, while softly evangelizing to their fellow students.
