Confirmation > Confirmation at Peace is a one year program offered
for any youth starting at least 8th grade. Throughout the year, students
will be involved in large group teaching times followed by one-on-one
discussions with a mentor from the congregation. They will also be
required to carry out service projects. The class will cover the Small
Catechism, Ten Commandments, Lord’s Prayer, Apostle’s Creed, and the
Sacraments. The class concludes with each student writing a faith
statement.
Monthly Activities > Each month there is typically a special event
and/or service project scheduled for the youth. These vary from month to
month, but past activities have included dinner and a movie, raking,
bowling, serving at soup kitchens, trips to water parks, food drives,
retreats, and more.
