Peace Lutheran Church Food Pantry
The Peace Lutheran Church Food Pantry is pleased to provide temporary assistance to individuals or families in need. It is our prayer that the gift you receive from us will enable you to overcome whatever hardship you may be facing. Peace Lutheran Church provides emergency aid for approximately 300 families a month who are in need of short-term assistance. We have provided this aid for over 10 years, but could not have done so without our PeaceFamily. All items that you have received today are strictly donations from our members. Here at Peace, we are able to provide direct assistance with food and diapers. Since we provide financial assistance to families through our donations made to Helping Hands, we are unable to help financially any other way. The PLC Food Pantry DOES NOT provide gas money/vouchers or assistance with rent or utilities. The Food Pantry is open from 1 pm - 3 pm on Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday. You are welcome to come one time per month. To receive assistance, you must provide your name, address, phone, social security number, and number of persons in your household. You must also bring a photo I.D., and if that does not have your current address on it, we will need to see a document with your current address, such as a bill, a piece of mail, or a rent agreement. Assistance is only available to each household one time per month, even if more than one family occupies the home.
