"Offering quality Christian education and care for everyone who enters our center by providing a safe, enriching environment in which children can thrive."
PeaceKids Learning Center and Preschool exists to provide clean, safe and loving care to infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families, regardless of income or socio-economic status. Realizing that choosing a quality childcare facility is an important and difficult decision, we strive to provide financial, spiritual and emotional support for families.
About PeaceKids:
Director Roseann Bowlin comes to PeaceKids with 15 years experience in
childcare. She knows what it is like to be in the classroom with children
looking to her for activities, guidance, and partnership with parents. She
intends to enjoy a long career at PeaceKids, building a strong team of
employees, strong parent/staff partnerships and thriving children who are eager
to learn about the world around them in a Christian atmosphere. Her hours are
7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
We maintain an open-door policy. We are available to all patrons, church members, staff and families who may have questions, concerns or comments.
We are building toward Arkansas Quality approval, which is a program designed to ensure that programming, staff development and parent/community partnerships are in place to provide children with the best start possible in their education. The expectations in these areas are higher than the state minimum requirements for licensing.
We currently use the following curricula:
A Becka, a Christian-based curriculum
High Reach
Creative Curriculum
We base all our activities on monthly themes chosen by the lead teacher team. Examples of themes are:
Springtime, plants, flowers and growing things
My Family and Me, family relationships, who is in my family
Patriotism, flags, colors, parades, etc.
