Weather Policy
Weather
is unpredictable and changes rapidly. Peace
makes every attempt to
maintain our ministry through
inclement weather while considering the
safety of those
we serve. Conditions can be different in the broad
region
we serve,
making it difficult to make weather related
ministry
decisions.
Therefore, in all weather situations,
we expect people to
use their own best judgment for
issues of safety. The
unpredictable and rapidly changing
nature of weather can cause
exceptions to the policy.
Normally, the following
will be our policy:

When Rogers public school is cancelled or if
students are sent home early, activities for children
and youth are also cancelled that day. -
If the weather changes late in the day or overnight and there are cancellations of Church ministries, every effort will be made to contact all those involved by phone and email.

Cancellations will be broadcast on radio stations: Power 105.7, Sam 98 (98.3), & 92.1 The Keg; TV stations: KNWA-TV & KFTA-TV FOX 24; & on the web at www.nwahomepage.com.

Worship services will not be cancelled. We encourage everyone to use his or her own best judgment about traveling to worship.
