If you would like organ music to add a touch of tradition and
elegance to your wedding ceremony, please contact the Music Director as soon as possible. We can arrange for our church organist to
play for your service and help select music from a wide variety of
resources. The church organist should be your first option out of
courtesy to the organist’s position in the church. If the church
organist is not available, the Music Director will arrange for
another organist. Any outside organist will need to be approved by the
Music Director.
The pastor, the Music Director, and the organist will be glad to
help you select music that is appropriate to the Christian worship
setting. Instrumental and vocal music is not entertainment or background
music; it is praise music to God. Congregational hymns may be used if
desired. Vocal or instrumental solos should reinforce the spiritual
significance of the wedding service. Our Music Director will make
instrumental and vocal arrangements. The final approval of all music at
the wedding rests with the pastor and the Music Director.
