Worship is for everyone. No matter your background come as you are to
experience the love of God and one another. There is no dress code
or requirement of giving. Communion is open to all who believe in
Jesus’ presence in the sacrament; it is not limited to members of
Peace Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America (ELCA). The ELCA confesses the Triune God —
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is proclaimed as Lord and
Savior. Through preaching and teaching the ELCA trusts the Gospel as
the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.
Saturday Evening Traditional Worship – 5:00pm
Saturday evening worship is perfect for those whose schedule
prevents worshipping on Sunday morning. It features full pipe organ
with congregational singing from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship
hymnal. Throughout the church year, worship services will feature
different settings (or styles) from the hymnal.
Sunday Morning Traditional Worship - 8:30 am
Following the same framework of Saturday evening worship, Sunday
morning worship features the full pipe organ, choir, and
congregational singing from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal.
Refreshments and time together are available following the worship.
Educational Opportunities for Youth and Adults– 10:00am
Youth and Adults are given educational opportunities which offer
learning Christ’s word between the Traditional and Contemporary
Sunday Morning Contemporary Worship - 11:00 am
This Sunday morning worship has a more modern feel, featuring
contemporary music. The praise team leads the worship in song with
vocals, piano, drums, and bass guitar. Many of the songs are
familiar as they are the contemporary Christian music found in all
venues of media.
Seasons of Advent and Lent
Holden Evening Prayer Worship is held on Wednesdays during the
seasons of Advent and Lent. Advent is the time prior to Christmas
and Lent is the time prior to Easter.
